Steric hindrance. The last refuge of the non-theoretical organic chemist.
If Donald ever hears about cis-trans isomerism, he'll sign an executive order allowing Christians to discriminate against it.
That's a racemic comment, if I ever heard one.
You're welcome.
Hey, I supported cis-trans isomers before it was cool.
Meso horny?
What concerns me is a possible negative pharmacodynamic interaction between finasteride and those illicit human hand growth hormones he allegedly gets FedEx'ed in from those gray market Russian compounding pharmacies.
Finasteride [Propecia] is used to treat pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in men only. Treatment slows further hair loss and provides about 30% improvement in hair loss after six months of treatment, with effectiveness only persisting as long as the drug is taken. Finasteride has also been tested for pattern hair loss in women; the results were no better than placebo.
Off-label uses
Excessive hair growth
Finasteride has been found to be effective in the treatment of hirsutism (excessive facial and/or body hair growth) in women. In a study of 89 women with hyperandrogenism due to persistent adrenarche syndrome, finasteride produced a 93% reduction in facial hirsutism and a 73% reduction bodily hirsutism after 2 years of treatment. Other studies using finasteride for hirsutism have also found it to be clearly effective.
Finasteride is sometimes used in hormone replacement therapy for transgender women in combination with a form of estrogen due to its antiandrogen properties. However, little clinical research of finasteride use for this purpose has been conducted and evidence of efficacy is limited.
And yet….
Compared with placebo, men taking finasteride are at increased risk for impotence, erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and ejaculation disorder for the first year of treatment.
Okay, so a thought: Between 卐 and the major media playing No, FUCK YOU ! It could get to the point where only Fox, Breitbart, Infowars and twitter will be how we find out what bullshit is going on. [Like it or not, good to know ]This means people will have to pay attention to those things. However, we don't want everyone clicking and viewing these things driving up hits and viewers. Ergo , like pool reporters, someone, or few, is going to have to monitor these things and send back intel . Chascates is the obvious nominee for this, for us. Maybe chas can actually link to baby pandas or something, but report the bullshit in comments.
reading the comments from you all during the primaries as my news source is how I stayed slightly more sane in the past year. Set up a duty roster? C_R, weej and I can handle science policy?
We won't have to pay any attention to those "news" outlets. Any reporter doing their job gets most of their information outside of press conferences anyway. Press conferences are mostly a formality for the cameras. Most administrations hold very few press conferences. That includes departments, too. Except for the Pentagon and State, most departments hold even fewer press conferences yearly than the White House, but reporters covering those beats still stay very very busy gathering news.
In fact, we will probably have much better news coverage now that "President" Trump is "In office."
They're using the same methodology they developed to cover people like Mugabe, Idi Amin, Marcos, Putin, et cetera. That in itself should tell you all you need to know about this current regime.
Maybe if he stopped taking the pills he's sharpen up and start buttoning his blazer, too. I still can't get over the fact that at his inauguration, he walked down those steps to be inaugurated and his suit jacket was unbuttoned. He always leaves it unbuttoned and sloppy, with that ridiculously long tie flapping around like a wind sock. The man was being sworn in as President of the United States and couldn't summon up the common courtesy of looking presentable. That says it all.
Too late.
"There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of a Propecia binge"
– Dr. Thompson
A man who could speak with resounding authority on the advantages and disadvantages of many pharmaceuticals.
Even the Good Doctor stayed far away from Propecia. Obviously.

It was on the internet.
*sniff*
Someone should tell him that Putin (obviously) doesn't use those products.
A friend found this on Reddit:
“On your first date, keep a close eye on how your date treats the wait staff. That’s how they’ll be treating you in six months”
“Now I know why my girlfriend keeps asking to speak to my manager”
This ends the "hairy palms" myth once and for all!
I saw Donald drinkin' a Pina Colada in Trader Vic's
his hair was Perfect.

I'm afraid the only thing even remotely related to his hair region that would be of the slightest benefit, is trepanation.

Yes, ignoring those outlets has led us to this place, at least in part.
"this place". Answer vague, please try again.
"This place" being with 45* in the White House.

Better to blame the drugs than admit to your own failings.

Also, I dunno, the one thing I like in that pic is the stuffed toad.
L’État, c’est moi!
I believe his birth certificate shows his place of birth to be Jamaica (Queens).
Not surprising, then, that he sleeps in what appears to be a queen's bedroom.
