László Toroczkai, mayor of Asotthalom, a remote village of around 4,000 on Hungary’s southern border with Serbia, is correct that an influx of Muslims would remake his village, just as granting full citizenship to women and people of color changed this country forever. Sensible people recognize that the changes were for the better. But this jerkwad, like Trump voters, just wants things to be like they used to be, and doesn't care that what kept it the way it was denying the rights of others.
