It's just touching and astonishing to me that someone thinks Congress, and the Republicans in particular, base their legislative programs on any kind of rational analysis. "Hmmm….the preponderance of scientific evidence seems to indicate that the Earth's climate is changing, and that human activity is the cause. The rational course of action would be to use our taxation power to discourage the use of CO2-generating fossil fuels, and to encourage the development of alternative energy sources."
