    Good, now Steve can spend more time with his family.

    If by "operationalized," Mr Broken-Blood-Vessels means "functioning," it seems clear that he's achieved his objective.

    So you put an unqualified political operative on the committee to keep an eye on the untrustworthy, probably highly compromised guy who you put on the committee anyway, even though he "has issues".
    Pretty thin. It's bad when the only explanation you can come up with makes you look stupider than the actual reason.
