  1. Oddly enough, the nation's Historian-in-Chief tweets this morning, and our premiere health-care expert's performance yesterday (analyzed above) seem to have delayed Sean Sphincter's |daily pillorying.|

    Edit: he just came out.

  2. Have to say the WH press corps is a bunch of dolts. They failed to pin Sphincter down on the pre-existing conditions issue and then just can't stop asking about WAR WAR WAR WAR, with somebody, somewhere, soon, please!

  3. Dickerson is the first journalist I have seen grill Drumpf on what, exactly, is in the Republican plan

This right here is the real problem. If these fuckers would do their jobs instead of fixating on the horserace politics of an issue, or caving in and changing the subject at the first sign of pushback, we'd have a far better informed voting public.

    1. Focusing on the who's-ahead aspect is their way of maintaining "objectivity," supposedly. Not sure I buy it.

      1. The horserace stuff is far easier than doing actual journalism and diving into issues well enough to report on them. They're just lazy fucks…

  4. “Without immigrants’ hands, nothing is going to get done in this country,” Cuevas says in an interview, “especially in Yakima Valley.”
Whether in vineyards, orchards or potato fields, Washington’s largest industry runs on immigrant labor. The average number of jobs for seasonal and nonseasonal agriculture workers grew from 74,486 in 2005 to 96,167 in 2015, according to the Washington State Employment Security Department.

As well as every other agricultural area.
