"Before 2014," he claimed, "if you were born with congenital heart disease like my son was, there was a good chance you'd never be able to get health insurance because you had a pre-existing condition, you were born with a pre-existing condition."
This is false. If parents had health insurance, the child would have been covered under the parents' policy whether or not the child had a health problem.
And when the kid grows up and has to get health insurance under his own name, what happens then, asshole?
There seems to be a notion, and not just in Republican circles, that ER care is free.
There have been studies done about it, not that data means anything to those clowns: https://twitter.com/DLeonhardt/status/85994863052…
And if your child has diabetes, do you take him to the ER four times a day for insulin shots?
Or how about radiation treatments for cancer? Or kidney dialysis?
These disingenuous, heartless bastards.
And when the kid grows up and has to get health insurance under his own name, what happens then, asshole?
/FFS
If parents had health insurance…..
If.
So. They passed the AHCA in the House. Sick babbies=saved!
At least I have the religious freedom to pick the ones I transport.
Zei stille, Wilhelm!
