  1. I was watching the Sean Show yesterday and before Huckabee's daughter came out to take her licks, they had some young cyber dude who explained a new initiative whereby the entire federal government would have just one computer system, with all its data in the cloud. One reporter asked an intelligent question ("Aren't data in the cloud more at risk than data on local systems?") but in general everybody could hardly wait for the guy to finish so they could ask about political stuff.

My experience with government-wide computer standardization tells me everybody might wind up with Zenith 286s, which'd be pretty cool.

    1. Sulzberger will win those readers back for sure if he just emphasizes how closed-minded and partisan they are.

    2. The Times’s Opinion pages remain an independent and unblinking forum for debate from a wide range of viewpoints among open-minded, informed writers and readers.

Open miinded? Sure, show me the scientific controversy and I'll consider the divergent viewpoints…

…wait, 97% of scientists agree that climate change is a thing? Then I'll choose to stay well informed and follow the evidence, not a blowhard, thanks!

  2. What’s the difference between huddling with staff “in” the bushes and “among” the bushes?

Cue the cheap dirty jokes in 3…2…1…

  3. Was gonna say that I hope he or one of his staffers reads that link about Enumclaw, but if Lakoff is right about the "strict father morality" thing, then that would make him want to take a flamethrower to everything that is not a plantation/Baptist Church/Klan Lodge in Indiana.

  4. OMG, is that what that was, I didn't recognize the pic, so went right past.
I am disappointed that Frau Blucher isn't in the thread . [Maybe , just haven't looked at the ALL of it. ]
