      1. Remember when Starr tried to quit halfway through the Clinton thing, so he could go take a sinecure law school job at Pepperdine? What a doofus.

      2. Yeah, I guess I have nothing against him as a director/ law dude, except the

' It's a slam dunk, sure we can convince people Iraq had something to do with the 9/11. ' In that sense, he was right, they could. Did. Easily.
Honestly couldn't say what else he did as FIBBY Director.

Reminder: Mueller was FBI Director when he & then-DAG James Comey together intervened at Ashcroft’s bedside in 2004 & threatened to resign.

    1. Just like tRump fired Comey while he was in LA and sent his muscle over to FBI HQ to deliver the news, I guess because he was afraid Comey would preserve a bunch of incriminating documents.

Of course if tRump had any brains at all he'd know that a Boy Scout like Comey is going to register every classified document he creates,as the rules require, and therefore doesn't need to take anything home.

  1. Here's what I hope: that Mueller issues his final report about 15 Oct 18, and it says that the whole tRump family is in hoc to the Rooskies up to their eyeballs.

  2. NYT

" WASHINGTON — Michael T. Flynn told President Trump’s transition team weeks before the inauguration that he was under federal investigation for secretly working as a paid lobbyist for Turkey during the campaign, according to two people

Despite this warning, which came about a month after the Justice Department notified Mr. Flynn of the inquiry, Mr. Trump made Mr. Flynn his national security adviser. The job gave Mr. Flynn access to the president and nearly every secret held by American intelligence agencies." https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/politics/mi

    1. Oh, and Mike Pence led the transition. He could go down in all this too. And after earlier tonight's WaPo story, so could Ryan. PRESIDENT ORRIN HATCH, EVERYONE!

  3. Was iffy on this story two hours ago, looking better now though.
Evan McMullin, who in his role as policy director to the House Republican Conference participated in the June 15 conversation, said: “It’s true that Majority Leader McCarthy said that he thought candidate Trump was on the Kremlin’s payroll. Speaker Ryan was concerned about that leaking.”

  4. I wonder if he's really dumb enough to fire a second guy on this case. The first time bit him in the ass.

lol, who am I kidding, it's Trump. Of course he's that dumb.

  5. Yeah well, I think Edwin was high when he wrote that. Maybe if Mueller gets enough evidence to get Congress……nah……..
    need a new Congress.

  6. What kind of a screwup is it going to take to get tRump to listen to the sensible people we're supposed to believe are all around him (mainly because they're the ones leaking all the time)?

  7. Just heard on NPR that Rosenstein can only fire Mueller with congressional approval and for just cause. Got a feeling R'stein's trying to save his own reputation a bit.

  8. I've heard three different things about how and if Mueller can be fired and I'm incredibly confused about this.

  9. Oh shit. I didn't realize what this meant , forgot who he was with all the rest of the news spraying out. .
