In elementary, middle and high schools, the Associated Press found a shocking level of sexual violence among students throughout the U.S. I wish it were shocking. So glad to be out of the K – 12 gauntlet FFS. Reply
When I was in 1st grade, some older boys "pantsed" me and threw me into the girl's bathroom. I got suspended for three days, they got–nothing. Looking back, this episode set the tone for my entire academic career. Reply
We were tougher back in the 50s. Also, I wasn't a snitch. Funny how I learned that lesson, even though we didn't have a TV in the house. At least I don't have to register as a sex offender because of it! Reply
