  1. Such a great show; I had no idea it was still in production. Just watched the episode where the beardy guy shows how he made the box below, using a single-bitted hatchet with great precision to trim a thin red oak drawer side to within maybe 1/8" of its final size, and then planed it by putting the jointer plan in the vise and moving the work across it, like coopers do. <img src="http://image.pbs.org/video-assets/pbs/woodwrights-shop/238183/images/mezzanine_601.jpg.resize.800×450.jpg"&gt;

  2. It's sort of the anti-Norm-Abram show. No power tools, many beautiful antique tools, and on most of the shows he does one project, anything from a log cabin to a spoon. If you like woodworking, you'd enjoy it.
