So far, Murkowski and Collins have voted no, 48 others yes, McCain and Johnson from WI haven't voted, nor have any Democrats. 'fraid the bastards will win, I got no faith in McCain's integrity, and don't know Johnson.
McCain in the house, got a standing ovation. For voting in the affirmative. Pence will carry it. Fuck.
I can only hope that you are right to be optimistic.
I know, I know, this was a battle not the war, but I could really do without the stress of wondering if I should stock up on meds now before it's too late FFS.
Haha, that's exactly where I'm going> But I have lived in SC as a youngster and spent a year in Columbia as a post-grad.
Columbia is where we're staying for this event. Thought about catching a local Fireflies ball game to watch Tim Tebow** as a bonus, for laffs; alas he got called up so it'll just be a regular small scale game with local flavor.
(That good Christian boy must've nearly tinkled himself when he got the message 'called up,' it does sound akin to getting raptured)
I mean it sounds nice but going from here to Nashville when there's no hotels closer than the Louisville area is a bit much. Especially when we'll have one pass right overhead, almost exactly at its peak, in 7 years. And that one lasts almost twice as long.
Peak totality for that one is near Union City, IN. Around here, that's known as taking 571 west for a little while.
Who knows about clear skies in Ohio tbh… The east in summer this year is a big question mark as it always is. It would be such a troll if there was a big storm system moving through the south that day.
Down here it be like if somebody farted in Wyoming.
Out here it'll be like 90% and there's one in 2024 that will be full eclipse right overhead.
It's okay, every hotel within 100 miles of this thing has been booked for a year lmao

And there goes my healthcare. FUCK.
This is only the procedural vote to allow debate. We can all guess how that will go.

Oh no, I'm far from optimistic. We are exactly this divided, and the vote to repeal will probably split down the middle, too.
Damn .
EVERYONE IS THE DECIDING VOTE
here democrats I made your ads for you

I traveled a few hundred miles to see [The Dark Side of the Moon] one time…
