I think it'll be harder to get that 50th vote now that they're on record as no. We're certainly not safe yet but Collins/Murkowski/McCain aren't going to take anything worse than they've already seen next time around.
I like how it failed but the maximum possible number of GOP Senators voted yes. That's going to hurt the GOP so much without killing our health care. Probably the best possible outcome.
I am of the opinion that they must be absolutely crushed. Getting nearly half the votes just encourages them to try harder next time, and there will be a next time.
