A robot could never do the job of sitting around and watching soap operas all day on an ObamaTV and eating food stamp crabs legs as well as I can. I'm pretty sure I'm safe.
While my position as a retired annuitant is likely safe, the gop'ers would still like to further privatize my source of income, and that would no doubt cost me dearly.
They always told me Soshecurity would never be there for me when I retired. And yet it was/is. Could it be that those promulgating that message had an ulterior motive?
Pretty sure I've prattled on about this here before, but in the unlikely event of new readers, it goes like this: super-libertarians like the Kochs have a long-term strategy to destroy Social Security, the government program they hate the most. The strategy entails convincing the Youngs that SS is bankrupt, or will be soon, that there's no hope of them ever getting benefits from it because it's a Ponzi scheme, etc. This will soften them up to the idea of ending it, or "privatizing" it as GWB attempted.
Chile actually did privatize their pension system under Pinochet (with guidance from American ultra-libertarians, with disastrous results.

Here's hoping this doesn't apply to unpaid snarky commenters on the internet.

GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In retrospect, Halperin always looked like some kind of sex offender. Now we know which.
That's already been automated to a near-unbearable degree.
Have you ever watched Tommy Emmanuel?
