  1. The new screening procedures will affect roughly 2,100 daily flights and will apply to U.S. citizens and foreign travelers on both American and global airlines. The hope is that more extensive screenings will not increase wait times at security checkpoints. Even so some carriers, including Delta Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways are advising passengers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight.

    As if flying wasn’t blowful enough.

    What they mean is, they hope the backlash from already stressed travelers won't lead to riots and fist fights at screening stations.

  4. Even the Dog abandoned this corridor! Besides, that's what my Shelby is for. Except for tomorrow. Tomorrow I need the truck. Road trip to Ridgecrest, nearest Home Depot.

  5. I took a Continental Trailways bus from Seattle to Sacramento once. I was 10, so it was an adventure. They even had a stewardess on the interstate runs. Far classier than Greyhound.
