Yes, of course, but do i really want to get into it in the comments section of YT? Relevant commenter is being an ass, and also kinda distorted on the musicology.
Amazing how different it is just a little north of where I am. We can still get it in stores easily and at one restaurant but the Polish deli just isn't a thing here.
Depends where you go. It's mostly the Hillshire Farms stuff, though it is still definitely better than a hot dog. You have to go to one of the upscale stores to find the good stuff. Weird considering legit good pierogi are everywhere now. Kielbasa is sure to follow soon, right?
One of my parents is from a NJ family that tried to erase all their past heritage and the other was a quarter Norwegian. My family's pretty new to the kielbasi thing. Now I want to take a trip to the one Polish restaurant in town though.
I made halupki a few weeks ago. Those I have down, but I've never tried making pierogi. My great grandma probably made thousands of those in her lifetime. Browned butter and onion sauce.. nom nom nom.
It ain't real kielbasi unless the fridge reeks of it once you've put it in there overnight.
Ya know, you're right. [ !!!! ] Never thought about it in the search, but it's true. Even spicier sausages of various ethnicitys don't have that smell. Can't place it now though. garlic? different combo of offal?
I just bought a couple of the Sprouts brats to try tomorrow while I watch football and finish wrapping presents. Had to pick up a free range organic turkey for the Xmas meal (don't ask, wasn't my idea to spend that much on a dumb dead bird)

OT Any thoughts on responding to a YT comment from two years ago on a video from ten years ago?
Depends on the video tbh
It 's just a guy doing a cover of an old blues raggy thing [ what else would I be watching? ]
Well an old comment might be okay for an old blues song?
I like that every other blog started on Papa John's is a pizza thread, but we're on kielbasa and pierogi.

I wonder what this will mean for [Leah Pritchett's] drag racing career?

Yeah, am trying to distract myself until the feeling -a -need- to- respond passes.
Also I meant to get broccoli and fucking forgot.
Wait there's a kielbasa season? Why have I not been told about this?
Probably not as good as yours, but two blocks away

Shortly after the spaghetti harvest is in, I think.

I'm a little jealous.

You need to try the free range pasta
HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?
You mean Kielbasa Season , or Polish Cottage?
[ Actually I think of spring / easter as more kielbasa season, but don't matter ]
Polish Cottage- I'm gonna have to check it asap
Like a lot of stuff it's a little pricey for peasant food. Good enough, but not WOWWZER!!
Coupla different vodkas and Eastern Euro beers too.
eta: Clientele tend to be old Polacks.
I need something for my Wisconsin brat/Kielbasa fix locally. Hard to find stuff here that holds up…
I only get from Dickman's or Sprouts [ not everything is tofurkey ]. Could be others.
