The only good thing about Culvers Restaurant , and Lent for that matter, is that they get a bunch of walleye for the Catlicks, [and others]. Our system is to get the fish from there and fries from 5 Guys and pig out.
My great uncle ran bootleg bars in the Chicago suburbs until one day when he got up from the dinner table to answer a knock at the door. He came back to the table holding his hand over a bullet hole in his neck and said to his wife, "Minnie, we're getting out." They sold everything and built a fishing camp on Moose Lake, at the southern boundary of what is now the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Art and Minnie are long gone but It's still there.
