The article says that air quality there is worse in the winter. That's pretty much the opposite of what it is in most places. Reply
Ah, no wonder. I've never even seen a dusty palm tree. That seems a bit weird. It's -8 here (wind chill -27) right now on the way down to possibly the coldest night since 1994. It is not fun in the Midwest right now. Reply

Right. It's been warmer 4,000 feet higher in elevation than here in the valley.
