      1. Some have suggested that when these events occur, members of the caucus should first "hold meetings" and "coordinate an agreed upon response", but what do those things even mean?

  1. So the upshot is that if the bots hadn't worked then serial groper [at least ] wouldn't have gotten pressure to resign, so it's a good thing they worked in this case.

  2. Twitter user here (AFinLA if anyone wants to follow–I'll follow back!) and I can tell you that while some white nationalist assholes might have piled on, there were enough legit progressive accounts who weren't happy with Franken as well.

I realize that reasonable people can disagree about whether he should have resigned, as opposed to offering a real apology for his past behavior, but it wasn't just the nut jobs who were concerned.

PS: you can have my Twitter feed of progressive and funny people when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

  3. When we ("Trump" and I) were watching "60 Minutes" last night we found it humorous that Tillerson wouldn't deny he called "Trump" a fucking idiot, he wouldn't admit it either.

Well I was laughing. Not sure about "Trump."

  4. None of that nonsense here, I tells ya. It rained a little bit last night at Tom's Place, about 20 miles north of the wildfire, at 7000ft in elevation. Cold enough to snow here, but the clouds are breaking up. No clouds overnight, wicked cold.
