I've had it beaten into me that the best camera is the one you have with you. I have a couple of pretty high quality Canon DSLR cameras, but they are on a shelf. My Samsung is with me always, whether I like the thing or not. (I do not.) Might be time to check out the Pixel2XL.
I'm a rather indifferent photographer. I can appreciate the difference between good and bad, and can even manage to stumble into taking some good shots from time to time. But I have no special technical prowess or or know much about the craft. I've got enough of an artistic bent to see something that could make for a decent shot, but if I had to live on my abilities, I'd starve.
Savov is not shy in praising the pixel.

My Galaxy 7 doesn't take a bad picture- especially in circumstances like this with good lighting and no motion blur to contend with
I liked my 4 just fine. My 7, not so much. It never takes the shot the first time, and sometimes there isn't a second shot.
