Here's just one of the many problems with arming teachers: when the cops arrive at a school shooting, the first thing they look for is a guy (cuz it's always a guy, usually white) with a gun. And when they see said gun-having-guy, they blow him the fuck away. They won't even ask to see the AFT union card.
