My personal jury is out on pit bulls; as a former USPS letter carrier I know some dogs seem inherently meaner than others (looking at you, German shepherds), but I've met a few affectionate and friendly pit bulls as well.
But playing with a loaded gun and a pit bull….sheesh.

The only dog that ever bit me maliciously was a shepherd. In the ass. 10 stitches worth. Fucker snuck up on me and bit me in the ass!
That said, I'd have a shepherd before a pit bull.
