    1. they dropped the penalty idea, along with home team setting policy for the game. Each team now sets their own policy, so you're prolly fine unless you play for Jerry Jones

      1. ETA, the more I read about this, the worse it sounds. Apparently, the NFL decided that you either stand on the sideline or you have to remain in the locker, effectively ending the 'take a knee' protest. I'm not sure what's worse, the fake president bullying the NFl into this crap decision, them for letting themselves go along with it, or the millions of dullards who think this is OK, because those uppity blahs should be grateful for the millions of dollars that the slack jawed couch potatoes bestowed upon them and because millions of people think it's OK for your employer to have that much control over your life just because they give you a paycheck.

  1. “I believe Palo Alto is a ghetto of wealth, power, and elitist liberalism by proxy, meaning that many community members claim to want to fight for social justice issues, but that desire doesn’t translate into action,” Stevens wrote, lamenting that it was impossible for low-income people to live in the city. “The insane wealth inequality and the ignorance toward actual social justice is absolutely terrifying.”

    Pretty fucking accurate…

    /FFS

    1. Yeah except "liberalism" doesn't include the fuck-you-I've-got-mine mentality. Those people are libertarians. Yes they smoke weed but there's more to being a liberal than that.

  2. Eggzactly- the only thing he got wrong in his rant was accusing the tech bros of being liberals. They are anything but…

  3. Biff, are you watching "JDM Legends" on the Velocity cable channel. It's a bit weird, but you might enjoy it. Some real craftsmen working on cars I've never hear of before.

  4. That's so great. Conservatards are all for shutting down socialist public schools, until the teachers go on strike and all of a sudden they've got a daycare crisis on their hands.
