You've got to admire the way he brandished that empty gun at a cop while simultaneously pulling down the garage door, as well as his presence of mind to put that unloaded gun back in his pocket in that 1/100 of a second after he was shot in the head

From what I've been able to glean from the stories online, he was shot through the door. Is this the case?
