  1. I mean, there's a point to be made either way. Giving money directly is also a way of saying "fuck the military, I want to give my money directly to helping the poorz/uneducated/arts and sciences"

    1. If only it was an either/or proposition. Poorz like me get to pay all the taxes and make philanthropic contributions, if we want any of our Ameros to go there.

  2. nice to know that rich folks don't want to learn or self-examine any more than anyone else. The above example of Silicon Valley hubris does not surprise me.
