  1. Sean Conley, the White House physician, explained the decision for Trump leaving the hospital. “He’s met or exceeded all standard discharge criteria.

And, of course, the phrase “met or exceeded all standard discharge criteria" really means "He's berated and hectored his way to an early release". Much the same way that he no doubt berated and hectored his way into that scattershot Hail Mary drug cocktail that no one on Earth has ever gotten before.

Trump told his Twitter followers “Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”, which translates into |"When I'm rushing on my run/And I feel just like Jesus' son |.

Dexamethasone is one helluva drug, apparently.

        1. I took the chihuahua to the vet on Monday to get a mani-pedi and to get his little anal glands squoozed, and when they told me that the discharge was "unusually gritty" and they want to check him again in three weeks, all I could think of was Trump.

    1. Before my shoulder surgery I got cortisone shots. First one lasted for 3 months, next one for 3 days, there was no third one

          1. What did you get for that? Or was it just scope?
Back in the Middle Ages when they did my knee, they used a cleaver and a Porter-Cable Sander.

          2. It was 'scopic but it was lengthy procedure — bicep tendon torn in 2 places, torn muscles, i think they shaved some arthritis off some bones. I got percoset

One time I was given a course of prednisone and I never ran faster on the treadmill and I actually started crying on the treadmill because I felt SO SO GREAT. "This must be what it's like to be normal!" I said out loud. I told my doctor about this and he told me to stop taking em.

          4. My left shoulder surgery was the bicep tendon and rotator cuff. They gave me a pain pump, and it was great. I stopped taking vicodin after just a couple of days. The right shoulder was horrible. It was the cuff, AC joint and one other Latin named bit that I can't remember. Worst recovery ever, and I've had eight or nine other major orthopedic surgeries including back surgery in the days of hammers and chisels.
I'm in awe of the amount of pain they can inflict on you through those three tiny holes.
            (Edited because I can't count)

      1. I've had lots of cortisone injections in my shoulders, back, and knees. The only ones that have helped at all are in my right knee so I'll probably get another one of those if I still can't get the knee replaced. They won't do the replacement within 6 months of a steroid shot.

    1. This is great and it looks like something right out of one of the original Whole Earth Catalog's, specifically designed to entertain the Trippers for hours on end.

President Trump’s covid-19 diagnosis is a blessing in disguise, because it has given him one last chance to win over millions of reluctant voters who approve of his policies but not of him. His illness has created a moment of sympathy, and with it an unexpected opportunity for a reset. He needs to seize that moment by offering the American people a clear vision for how he will end this pandemic…..

    LOL

  6. The few people invited to the debate are masked and distanced.
Susan Page was unmasked when she spoke to them.

Fortunately, it is time to eat again.
