yeah, picking fights and allies the next few years will be fun. I was very disappointed in Kasich, like we discussed, just because he's polite doesn't mean he wouldn't gut "non white guys" rights
You know, your attitude "do the best you can given the choices" is spot on and seems to be in short supply. Neither Hillz nor Trump was a unicorn, but for those who didn't vote or cast protest votes and so on, what the ever loving fuck, you selfish morons?
State gun control laws, abortion restrictions, voter laws, anti-discrimination measures and immigrant issues are all matters that are increasingly heard by federal judges and will be influenced by the new composition of the courts. Trump has vowed to choose ideologues in the mold of the late Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia, a conservative icon — a prospect that has activists on the right giddy.
Thanks, non-voters who stayed home because "voting doesn't change anything." Thank you very fucking much…
I've got a couple of conservative engineer friends- one didn't have a nice thing to say about Hillz or Trump, the other one said earlier this month "this is the most optimistic I've been in decades". Let's just say "I don't agree with the second guy's opinion on politics" is putting it mildly.
The job of Dems for the next couple of years, at least, is to block every one of these appointments. Of course, they'll just roll over like they always do.
I mean at this point I'm not against working with people like Kasich's campaign manager if it means stopping Trump.

Well that campaign manager is for bringing over Syrian refugees, for what it's worth.
you know those guys way better than I do. I will defer to your judgement. Letting in refugees is good.
Oh, I just saw it on Twitter lmao

McConnell has been blocking these court vacancies all along, so I give him most of my hate…
Only for that reason? Is there anything about him that isn't odious?
Oh, he gets lots of hate for lots of reasons, but he almost single-handedly is responsible for the judiciary backlog.

He's a lame duck, right? Doing otherwise would be thwarting the will of the Americian people.
