No such luck with my car: it's got to go to the shop later. Damn thing won't start without turning the ignition several times. Here's hoping fixing that won't cost me a fortune!
Already took it to a place…they can't find the problem yet (every time they try to start it, it starts.) Am leaving it overnight and they will try again in the AM: the idea being if it does not start then, it's probably a starter issue, but their computer diagnostic didn't pick anything up, and the battery is fine.
This happened a couple times last year (having to turn the ignition several times before the car would start), but it was so intermittent I figured things were fine. But suddenly this week it has happened several times: after it happened three times yesterday, I knew I had to take the car in. Had planned to go to the store and back and then take it in today, but it took SIX times before I could start it so I went straight to the shop.
I was low on oil, so if nothing else I'm going to get that taken care of. But I really hope they find the issue, because I need my car.
* Dead spot in the starter motor windings
* bad solenoid
* bad contacts for the solenoid
* intermittent ground somewhere
* loose battery terminals
* bad battery ground.
That's all I got. I'd go the the dead spot, perhaps, from what I've seen…
Good luck! Good to have that oil topped off, anyway.

Or in Italian, non va.
That's exactly why they didn't sell in Latin America.
