  1. I love the concept of electric and hybrids. I'm outside the range for an EV, but a hybrid could work. I have this thing against 4-door cars. I do wish Tesla still made the Lotus Elise EV, and that I could afford one.

          1. I know, I'm a bad hippie. Part of it goes back to my days of driving junkers, always had to have a spare. I've always needed a truck because of my trade, but a coupe for a backup made sense. Now I don't work but I still need the truck for home improvements and to pull the 5th wheel. For a retirement present to myself I got a totally bitchin' Shelby, which stays in the garage most of the time. I've also always been a biker, so a motorcycle is necessary. To help offset my guilt, I also have a 100mpg scooter. I'm in the beginning stages of paring down the collection.

          2. Had the pickup version of this for a few years, and it had three-on-the-tree. More fun than you'd think!

If you live where electricity is made by burning coal, your Tesla is a coal-fired automobile.

          3. Our steering wheel on the '68 Morgan +8 is still on the proper side. Have to shift with your left hand, but the clutch, brake, and go pedal are all in the usual spots (thank goodness for that!).

          4. Absolutely! Typo above – it's a '68 not '98 sitting on the standard +4 frame. Frame re-built up a gauge with doubler plates where the aft engine/tranny cross piece is to keep the olde Buick/Olds aluminum V8 from tearing the new frame apart like it did with the olde one from the Works.

ed/ I wuz lazy and grabbed a shot from the webs & seems the owner has put a kibosh on that, so…here's the real one with the missus behind the wheel.
