I lived in the Show-Me State for 8 years, including lots of time at Fort Leonard Wood, or Fort Lost-in-the-Woods as some called it. Nonetheless I had to look up where Dent County is, and here is the most memorable thing I can say about it: it is just a bit east of Licking, MO, the town that inspired the greatest newspaper headline ever, concerning some statewide sportsball competition:

Here in Ohio we have a Licking County and when they gave out license plates to counties, all of the ones with CAT at the start went there.
