  1. FYI, you have to click over to Buzzfeed to see the actual flic, but I respect your appetites too much to subject you to that.

    1. btw, AntiDerp, are you familiar with a French skin cream called Biafine?|

I have a prescription for it because that's the only way I can get it here. It's great for just regular hand cream and skin cream, better than anything else I've used, whether cheap drug store stuff or fancy stuff.

From what I can tell on the Internet, apparently Biafine is a Thing in France and women there swear by it and it is easily available in any drug store? If so, lucky you.

      1. I do not know of it, but now I MUST find it. There are about a gazillion pharmacies here. Either because of socialized health care or the French are hypochondriacs. Maybe both.

        1. I'd be curious if you try it to know what you think. Also to know what the cost is there. If I ever go to France I would prob pick up some tubes if it were cheaper. W/o a prescription it's like $75 to buy a big tube online. My prescription is $5 for these little tubes the size of travel toothpaste.

I started using it in February to treat a second-degree burn from an accidental splash of boiling water. After three months of putting a thick layer of Biofine on it every day I now have only the faintest hint of a mark that no one would ever notice but me. I don't know what's in that stuff but it is amazing.

          1. I will research and report back. I'm heading to the US for the war on Txksgvng, so if it's a deal, I can pick some up and ship to you.

ETA: I just checked online–depending on size it's from 7 to 12 euros. Maybe I can get a side business as a black market importer (dear DEA, this is me joking!).

          1. Yeah, there's a way of looking at terrestrial stuff, sort of leaning over the tube with your butt pointed in the direction the scope is aiming, stuff will look rightside up. In space, yeah, what is upside down.

          2. That right there is $10 worth of advice, thanks! I'd love to get a decent quality scope with a bayonet mount for my camera body, but that won't come so cheap.

          3. Some folks get into that. With CCD cameras and a good mount you can do all sorts of crazy stuff, not my cup of tea, but if you just want to use a scope as a telephoto for your existing camera, that can be done for daytime stuff or the moon fairly easily- even with a decent camera phone.

      1. Ought to be some awesome stargazing out there in the wilds. I love to visit friends in Guatay, about 40 mi east of San Diego, and see the big broad band of the Milky Way.

        1. It's really dark near both of my domiciles, though Las Vegas has seriously polluted the night sky down there. My biggest problem is staying up at night.

          1. Planets and the moon can be had easily even in streetlight central. Dark skies can be enjoyed naked eye, binocs, scopes…you name it!

          2. Might be worth checking out. Usually a bunch of friendly folks you can learn a lot from and find what might work for you. We always love sharing the view. I haven't gotten my ass out to a star party in a while, but was up in Yosemite (Glacier point) a few times the past few years and end up sharing the view with a few dozen folks, always.

  2. “Beauty is beauty,” Trumps says, “and let’s see what happens with New York.”

Sheesh, that's bad even for porn dialog!
