What I would like to have heard in a political ad from a Dem standing for state office: "My opponent says I want to expand Obamacare. Since it is a federal law and coverage is available to anyone, it can't be expanded on a state level. The law does allow an expansion of Medicaid and offers some additional funding, something the Republicans are against because they don't want to spend money helping the less-fortunate. If elected I will be happy to vote for expanding Medicaid."
I think that Sanders would have been tarred and feathered by the GOP hate machine just as much as Clinton was, only in a different way. Playing the blame game is easy when you're Monday morning quarterbacking. I do wonder what would have happened if she had chosen him as a running mate, rather than Kaine. Truth is, I didn't think it was the least bit politically possible at the time, but as a mental exercise, it's an interesting hypothetical to ponder.
lol no
You're saying they would've made him seem like this guy?

You don't change Trotskys in mid stream!

You know who would probably disagree with their take? Bernie Sanders.
Snert. So true.
