These are my two closest friends. When I've been sick they drive me to the hospital and take me home, even though they live in the next town over. They're those kinds of friends. They are a gay married couple and one is HIV positive and they've been through far more crap than I ever have, yet one holds public office, gives speeches for kids in schools whenever he's asked, holds fundraisers for every progressive cause in the area, has almost single-handedly revitalized his city's derelict downtown and they're both universally gracious to everyone they interact with, no matter how they're treated. They are the embodiment of what Michelle said, "When they go low, we go high."

Me too. I'm actually about to go out and get pizza. I think we're going to see Dr. Strange. It will be nice to sit down with actual real people who are friends and be sad, in person, together.
