i think I got my feet wet in Lake Erie once in my 5 years in Cleveland. Being from NJ, I prefer salt water. Reply
Central Park in Manhattan might be OK if you live in NYC, but I'd take some (or most) of Cleveland's Metroparks over it.

I never would have imagined surfing on Lake Erie.
Did body-surf some way back when. We only lost a few people to undertow.

To be fair, we had run-off from J&L Steel, Alcoa , and Union Carbide.
