I LOVE that Teen Vogue did this. It also has links to accompanying activist-oriented articles for teen girls – good for Teen Vogue!
Girls who buy this mag aren't vapid – they probably mostly are already developing political awareness, but like anyone else they buy fashion mags for the fashion and get their politics elsewhere. Still it's such a savvy move considering the uniqueness of the situation, to empower young people to trust their instincts.
Um, ok NPR. I guess it's those fantastic cabinet picks that have put us all at ease. Or the release of those tax returns. Or the CIA investigation of Russian ratfucking. Or the putting the business in blind trust. Or those statements about Global Warming.
Phew, now that I reflect on it, I'm way less fearful.
Well, if by less fearful they mean clinging to a ray of hope that Republicans won't let the Russian hacking issue go, will investigate and potentially impeach, maybe. But then we get stuck with Mike Pence so…
When you're lost Teen Vogue…

Without reading the article (because srsly), I'm betting they meant elected officials rather than the rank-and-file.
Saw this last night. Save us, young fashionistas!

And my experience with teen girls tells me that the one on the right is watching a laser pointer.
Glad to see we're in the same Network
