Hah! Funny. LLNL always had a hard core Mac streak to them, even in the dark days. I was writing my own softwares so me and the IT guy in my department had an understanding. He wouldn't fuck with my machine, and I wouldn't be a vulnerability to the network.

That seems about right. Most of my time there, my office and my lab didn't have windows.
