Supporters of the law believe it’s a positive step in acknowledging women’s health and helping working women who suffer cramps. On the other hand, some critics, including women, think the bill may backfire and employers will be more likely to hire men.
Hmmm…not sure what I think here. Interesting idea, though. Thank God this was never my problem!
My Italian brother-in-law will put this in his file of anecdata, along with the immigrants getting to stay in hotels for free and getting €50/day for living expenses, and the government worker who only came to the ofice in pajamas twice a day to ring in and out.
