Yesterday I keyed the tax return heard tell of a lady who was not getting a refund on her state taxes. She owed a couple hundred bucks. At the end of the | AZ140 | there are boxes for voluntary gifts to various… things. State parks and roads, domestic violence shelters, political parties, etc. If you're getting a refund, you can send some of your refund to these causes, which is nice. If you owe and tick the box for Neighbors Helping Neighbors (no, I don't know what that is) you will have to pay more. Well, sneaky lady from Tuba City or wherever owed $212 or so, "gifted" 100 bucks to AZ Wildlife and tried to say she now owed $112.

Bless her heart.
I like it, it's got that "Ulalume" kinda flavor in the meter/rhyme.
I dunno what wildlife is gonna do with $100 anyway.
It's wildlife entitlements I tell ya……….
They never pay any taxes and expect cash.
