  1. Nice article even though it fails to address the great mystery of why only two words in English have no rhyme, and both are colors: orange and silver.

    In Chinese, the word for the fruit orange is 橙. The word for the colour orange is 橙色, which is literally "the colour of the orange fruit." Not sure if this etymology of the colour orange is unique to English.
