Headed out to a Biergarten for the first time in 1.5 years.
Librarians are headed out for a West Coast trip to dodge fires and heat stroke, so we're gonna have a few.

Toyota is the no. 1 donor to Republicans who objected to certifying the 2020 election results — by far.

I briefly considered the Toyota Sedition, but settled on the Kia Sorento. More USB ports and 100 percent less insurrection.
Boston hit 97 degrees on Monday, tying 1901 and 1991 for the hottest June 28 in recent recorded history. The “feels like” heat index was hovering around an oppressive 105 degrees.
The dangerous heat will once again be on tap for most of southern New England on Tuesday, with heat indices in the 100s.
I have to remind myself that cars depreciate. I'm getting a very fair price for it, but it's less than half what I have invested in it. It's been a blast owning it. I won't miss it much, because it sits in the garage most of the time.
I used to give the cops access to a 40 ft container at my jobsite for fireworks storage. They'd bust people crossing the border from Nevada into California with a vanload of the good stuff. They'd escort them to my place to unload them, write them a citation and send them on their way. Once the 'splody stuff was no longer necessary for evidence, we were tasked with "disposal". Very much fun.
I'll pay off my truck with the proceeds and have some money left over to put toward an electric car. I'm thinking a Mini. Lousy range, but for going to town and back, it'll be fine.
Don't know who made the pic.
Just trying to keep regular posting access.
You don't hear a lotta stuff in Open Morris Minor tuning these days.
It's the sound of the islands.
OMG!

That insanity will still be exported to other battleground states, regardless of the cost.
It's OK, the Roberts court made voting a thing of the past anyway.
Good point.

News update:
Got an unsolicited offer to buy my car this morning.
Sold.
Once in a while someone will offer to buy my aged Volvo for parts. Never enough to get another
car that runs.

I ferget what it was.
It's a 2008 Shelby SC. Very much fun, but it deserves to be driven. I don't do that very much anymore.
Ah, yes.
New post if C_R_ or zippy come around.
Am house siitting. No mojo here.
We didn't beat you by much down here. Difference being, we're used to it. Sorry 'bout that.
So how's it going today?
A friend in Eugene says it's supposed to be their hottest day ever today.
106 according to my in/out thermometer. I think the "official' high will eclipse that.
It's doing OK, but it still doesn't feel like it belongs to me. I've only got two therapy sessions left, so I expect it to be 100% by Friday.
Right.

Cool.
Not a clue.
It should be Jorma with Jack, if I remember correctly from the last episode.

So it's a newspaper or blog or something?
Or just a general GMTA comment.

We got to 98°, but the humidity is kinda ridiculous RN.
Technically measurable drizzle here this p..m.. As usual, parts of S.E.Az. got the real dumping.
Living in the middle of town I'm used to watching the storms peter-out when they get here.
Every nation on earth has July Fourth, whether they celebrate it or not. Might as well have some fun!
ZD figures some LAPD were there to celebrate.
I think Dave that lived next street over was making one of those. They had to move though.
