      1. Not much chance of them in the city. Have to check in places where buildings got demolished and are just bare ground [ again ] now. Maybe viable eggs.

        1. Oh, I read the article, it just doesn't seem like the kind of story they'd cover unless they claimed that's the way libruls want things.

    Gloomily sat down to knock out some paid writing today. A spider fell off the ceiling, into the screen/keyboard gap, and crawled into a vent hole to die. I envy the spider.

    1. That's what used to crack me up the most.
